Cascade Falls (Macquarie Pass, NSW)

/ Sunday, 9 April 2017 /

Cascade Falls is a 2 hour drive from Sydney, near the upper Kangaroo Valley. We went on a group hike during a lovely sunny Saturday morning/ afternoon.
People were canyoning when we arrived at the falls. It took us a decent 2 hours of hiking/ rock scrabbling/ navigating/ bridge building before we got to the falls. Luckily Vu and his friend were quite long-limbed and could haul us across the rocks!
Rocky terrain!
Imitating turtles during our rest stop (we brought pork rolls with us for lunch)
The lower half of the river.
We sun-baked on top of the rocks during our rest stops, listening to the river and absorbing our surroundings.
