I have a sweet tooth - favourite desserts in Sydney

/ Monday, 23 June 2014 /
An interesting Japanese take on a neapolitan slice and profiterole, from Azzuri. Creamy, light and with the right balance of crisp pastry and smooth custard.

Tiramissu from Mario Brothers, a super popular pizza restaurant amongst locals in Crows Nest/ North Sydney. A.k.a. melt in your mouth orgasmic heavenly wonder. I still think that Mario Brothers has the tastiest woodfired pizza and pasta in Sydney. Plus, it's super authentic in terms of flavour and has a cosy atmosphere.  I really do recommend their prosciutto, rocket and parmesan pizza and (of course, #duh) the tiramissu.

A friend from church made this adorable oreo cupcake. It was the bomb. She is so talented at baking and cooking in general. Sadly, my talent mainly lies in eating...

Passionfruit tart from The Gumnut Patisserie in Bowral (okay this is quite a bit of a drive from Sydney, but it is WORTH the stop if you pass by the area). Holy smokes once you try this, there is no going back #icandieinpeace. The passionfruit kick you get from this number is addictive. You find yourself having one slice, then another and then another ... until you're sitting there crying over the empty box whilst licking your fingers free of that beautiful passionfruit filling.

Any dessert recommendations and favourites in your area?

That tiramisu looks so tasty! I'm not much of a sweet tooth, but I do love anything with custard.
