A successful DIY. They remind me of the Zara dip dye shorts!  Still figuring out how to get rid of the lemony bleach smell (despite rinsing them in the shower). I don't want to chuck them into the wash, in case the remaining bleach damages the other clothes. Oh, what to do??

I bought this futuristic flapper skirt (aka my noodle skirt) at a recent Ladakh sample sale. It was really hectic at the store. The clothes where hung in every corner and about half of it was laid on a room full of trestle tables. To make up for it though, the clothes were about 1/6 of their retail price (yaaay).

It took ages (and a lot of patience) to sift through the stuff and find pieces that I really liked. There was a really chic (and suprisingly non-flambouyant) sequined shift dress. But really, on what occassion would I even wear that?  I tried to be picky, otherwise I would have come out with too many unecessary things!

Macarons at Cafe Cre Asion. I had these with some uni friends a while back.  We shared 12 macarons between the three of us.

My favourite was the raspberry lychee one! It had a little lychee jelly in the middle! The pistachio one was good (as always) but the passionfruit macaron wasn't quite as intense as I would have liked it to be. This cafe specialises in Asian/ Japanese inspired dessert flavours - they have green tea, black seasame macarons and more. Hopefully I'll get to try them in later trips :)

Feel free to share some of your DIYs or mini food-adventures!   Have a great week!

Ooh I never ended up trying to bleach my jeans haha. How diluted did you make your bleach/how long did it take?

well these shorts seem pretty tough (i.e. they were thick and seem pretty durable) so i went with basically 100% bleach. left it in for 40 mins? keep an eye on them until they turn white! i think if you leave them in for too long it might go a bit yellow :/

i takes ages for the smell to air out (even after rinsing them heaps...)
